A Golden Fairytale: Ginkgo and Celtis Tetrandra

The ginkgo trees on Wenlin Street are the first to make their appearance. Even before the lotus leaves in Cuihu Lake have faded from green, the ginkgo has already donned its golden hue. As a gentle breeze rustles through, leaves flutter down, transforming the entire street into a "golden rain," where the aroma of coffee mingles with the autumn air, creating an intoxicating atmosphere.

文林街的銀杏率先登場，翠湖的荷葉還未褪去綠色，銀杏就已披上金黃。微風(fēng)徐來，葉片飄落，整條街道如同沐浴在“黃金雨”中，咖啡的香氣混合著秋日氣息，令人沉醉。

The ginkgo avenue at Yunnan University is another exceptional photo spot. Centuries-old ginkgo trees stand sentinel on both sides, lending the venerable campus an even more ancient and dignified air beneath their golden canopy.

云南大學(xué)的銀杏道更是絕佳打卡地，百年銀杏夾道而立，金色掩映下的百年學(xué)府，更顯古樸莊重。

Along the banks of the Daguan River, the Celtis tetrandra trees have also embraced their autumn wardrobe. Their golden foliage, reflected in the water alongside the arched bridges, forms a picturesque and breathtaking scene.

大觀河兩岸的滇樸同樣換上秋裝，滿樹金黃與水中倒影、拱橋相映成趣，構(gòu)成一幅美不勝收的畫卷。

紅色浪漫：楓葉與梧桐

Red Romance: Maple and Firmiana Simplex

The maple forest in the Kunming Botanical Garden is a riot of color, and strolling through it is like stepping into an oil painting. In the Suburban Park, crimson maple leaves, brown Firmiana simplex, and evergreen Conifers intertwine, creating a stunningly beautiful and colorful tapestry.

昆明植物園的楓香林層林盡染，漫步其中，宛如走進(jìn)油畫世界。郊野公園里，染紅的楓葉、褐色的梧桐與常青的松柏交織，色彩斑斕，格外美麗。

Heilongtan Park is currently hosting its "Dragon Pool Maple Festival," which runs until November 30th. Over a dozen varieties of maple trees begin to change color from mid-October. Particularly the "Red Maple Forest," planted in 1997 to commemorate the return of Hong Kong, blazes like fire under the autumn sun. Paired with the ancient, elegant pavilions and structures, it feels like stepping into a classical poem.

On the HaiGeng Dam, returning black-headed gulls soar freely, creating a captivating picture against the vast blue of the lake. Along the Dianchi Lake Greenway, rows of metasequoia trees have turned golden, their autumnal colors interspersed with the sunset glow filtering through the Miscanthus sacchariflorus flowers, making it a place to linger.

The chrysanthemum exhibition at Daguan Pavilion (October 1st - November 16th) is an indispensable autumn spectacle in Kunming. Rare and prized chrysanthemum varieties gather here, complementing the profound cultural heritage of the "Number One Longest Couplet Under Heaven," offering a timeless autumnal rendezvous.

The "Tanhua Autumn Charm" chrysanthemum exhibition at Tanhua Temple (running until the end of October) is equally spectacular. Over 900 exquisite specimen chrysanthemums each possess their own unique charm, with deep-toned chrysanthemums exuding depth and elegance, and green chrysanthemums displaying a refined grace, showcasing autumn's distinct allure.

曇華寺的“曇華秋韻”菊花展（持續(xù)至10月底）同樣精彩，900余盆精品標(biāo)本菊各具風(fēng)姿，墨菊凝韻，綠菊逸雅，展現(xiàn)著秋日獨(dú)有的韻味。

For the best autumn scenery, consider visiting in the morning or between 3-4 PM when the light is soft and perfect for photography. Wearing light-colored clothing will create a beautiful contrast with the autumn colors, enhancing your photos.
